Duties, Tasks & Responsiblites:
Finance
- Overtime budget
- Drain maintenance budget
- Manage environmental budget
- Budget creation and monitoring
- Estimate costs of rechargeable & contract works
Operational
- Management of EA PSCA works
- Co-ordinate key schemes & projects
- Programme all works
- Liaise with landowners and tenants
- Respond to technical enquiries
- First point of contact for legal operational matters
- LCC Major & Minor Work Enquiry Responses
- Overall responsibility of monitoring the conditions of the Board's drains
- Development of key engineering services, policies & procedures
- Implementation and monitoring of Board Policies
- Liaise with H&S Advisors
- Update & review RAMS with external H&S Advisor
- Develop and implement and monitor the H&S Policy
- Prepare annual health & safety report
- Assess workforce H&S Training and book
- Design, create & deliver formal inhouse training
- Review & monitor the Board operations in line with Environmental policy
- BAP Development & Review
Board
- Environment meeting preparation
- Structures meeting preparation
Representation - external bodies & groups
- Attend Boston, South Holland, South Kesteven, Lincoln Drainage Meetings
- Lincs Highways Agency Utilities Committee
- Planning / consents site meetings
- Liaison with external partners
Director / Management
- Duty Officer
- Weekly management meetings
- Flood event participation
