Reporting to the Maintenance Director
Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities:-
Operational
- Control summer cutting works
- Assist Programming works, implementation and monitoring
- Site management of annual maintenance & project schemes
- Finding EA Works
- Conduct walk over surveys
- Organise notices for desilting and bushing works
- Supervise H&S Procedures
- Respond to technical enquiries
- Assist Planning & Enforcement Officer
- Procurement of work-related items
- Management of Stock
- Calibration of instruments
- GIS - Identify issues with tracker
Representation / Liaison - external bodies & groups
- Attend cable safe meetings
- Liaise closely with EA
- Liaise with LHP
- Liaise with landowners & tenants
- Point of contact with farmers etc. after hours
- Liaison with external partners
Workforce management
- Manage & maintain timesheets, log sheets etc.
- Complete records & driver log sheets inc. timesheets and coding
- Produce maps for workforce
- Control the out of hours pumping station inspections
- Arrange workforce for emergency working
- Workforce HR
- Ongoing briefing & training
