Pumping Station Caretaker

We are seeking a reliable, motivated and flexible Pumping Station Caretaker to join our operations team. This hands-on-role involves ground maintenance across 35+ sites, as well as supporting minor repairs, assisting with maintenance and inspections at the Board’s pumping stations throughout the year.

Hours of Work

The Board operates a 76 hour nine-day fortnight (i.e. every second Friday is a day off work). Monday to Thursday 7.00am to 4.00pm, Friday 7.00am to3.30pm with a half-hour lunch break. The successful applicant will commence work as soon as possible.

A 4x4 vehicle will be provided for business use and a lone working/man down mobile phone will be provided.

Spine Point 12 (ADA Lincolnshire Branch White Book Terms & Conditions)

Salary

£27,996, equating to £2,333 per month (£14.13 per hour) at 2025/26 pay rates

Pension

Contributory Lincolnshire Local Government Pension Scheme available

Location

Station Road, Swineshead (working across the Board’s district)
